Compliance with Laws and Standards: Operate in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, international laws, and customer requirements, while adhering to work procedures and guidelines that ensure compliance with the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environment. This includes food safety risks in line with the following certifications: ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
Setting and Reviewing Objectives: Define and review quality, health, safety, and environmental objectives, as well as food safety risk goals. These objectives will be periodically assessed to ensure they are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) and support the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Commitment to Quality Management Systems: Adhere to the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) and HACCP requirements to fulfill the company’s goals. We strive not only to meet customer expectations but to exceed them by delivering high-quality services and products.
Employee Involvement: Ensure that all employees involved in the food chain and supply chain are aware of their roles and responsibilities in guaranteeing food safety. Provide training and qualification to enable them to achieve this goal effectively.
Healthy and Safe Work Environment: Maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees by complying with local and international occupational health and safety standards.
Training and Awareness: Provide appropriate training and raise awareness among all employees about workplace risks, accident prevention, and occupational health. Continuously improve occupational health, safety, and environmental performance through regular evaluation and review.
The Golden Merchant Program is considered one of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration pioneering projects that uses modern methods of work and relies on the principles of risk management and voluntary commitment to the institution’s requirements. Under this program, the organization applies modern compliance auditing techniques with the aim of evaluating the extent of compliance of the companies nominated for this program with the requirements, conditions and standards approved by the Jordan Food and Drug Administration.

The merchant is given priority in inspection procedures, taking samples, checking documents on the institution’s single window, and analyzing samples in laboratories accredited by the institution.
